Bentley Kempinski Hotel Guest Room The Bentley Kempinski Hotel - Comment:

This boutique hideaway hides away on a fairly quiet side road just 3 or 4 minutes walk from the Gloucester Road tube and as you may have read from other reviews I have done, I consider this area perfect for the visitor to London. Its a safe area with many shops, restaurants and bars including two 24 hour food stores and travel around the capital and out to Heathrow Airport is easy and fast. Thats probably where the positive review ends as the Bentley Kempinski Hotel itself disappoints.
It has been described a "tacky" and "tired", the decor is repro flamboyant and the service is not 5 star. However it has a redeeming feature which will appeal to some, large bathrooms, walk-in showers and jacuzzi style bath are a feature in all the rooms.

Hotel Assist Verdict: Value for money hotelValue for money hotel Value for Money - Overpriced and overrated. If the Bentley advertised as a 4 star hotel then it would fair better reviews but at 5 star level people expect 5 star facilities and treatment. Great location and great bathrooms but thats about all thats positive. Try the ParkCity Hotel 200 metres away.
