THE BEST WESTERN GREAT NORTHERN HOTEL, LONDON
Opened in 1854, The Great Northern Hotel is the oldest purpose built hotel in central London. Today the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the building retains much of the original charm. Camden is within a 10 minute walk to the north, and the West End is just a short taxi or tube ride away.
Each comfortable guest room provides ensuite facilities, radio, television with Sky Sport & Movies, direct dial telephone, hospitality tray, hairdryer and trouser press. There is a choice of single, double, twin or family rooms. The hotel also has a number of superior rooms which are larger than the standard rooms and command better views of London.
The hotel's Coffee House is open daily from 7.00am to lO.00pm (8.00am to 9.00pm on Sundays). In response to demand the main menu features a wide selection of starters, main and sweet courses, as well as light snacks. Breakfast is served until lO.00am and a carvery is in operation at lunch time. Access to the Coffee House is from the hotel foyer or by a staircase opposite the exits from Kings Cross Station and Underground.
The comfortable Northern Bar serves a full range of beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks. A Bar menu is also available from 11.00am to 10.00pm.
