Browns Hotel - Comment Even pre multi million pounds refurbishment, Browns Hotel was always a favourite haunt. This superb Mayfair hotel is probably one of the best located as it is in the east of the district bordering Bond Street shops and Piccadilly. Jermyn Street, Fortnum and Mason and Saville Row are a few minutes stroll and the Burlington Arcade on your doorstep. Well know locally for its award winning English Tea Room and also its restaurant headed up by Executive Chef Maitre d'Angelo Maresca, both are worth a try. If you are into Jazz then the Donovan Bar features live music every night. The beds and the bed linen are top notch. Most rooms are of a reasonable size, much depending on what you pay. The new contemporary decor still preserves the historic materials so although modern it still has that look of a long established hotel. Hotel Assist Verdict ![]() ![]() ![]() Value for Money - a few teething problems following the refurbishment mainly connected to inexperienced staff but Browns seem to be sorting that issue out. I prefer this location to Park Lane and although top price, it is worth the experience.
