Derby Hotel Overview

"The Derby Hotel London opened in August 2007 after an extensive refurbishment.
Located on Cromwell Road in South Kensington, the Derby Hotel is in a prime London area which is very upmarket and safe. This London area offers attractions such as the Museums of South Kensington, Harrods, the Kings Road, Fulham Road and the Royal Albert Hall are all walking distance. The exclusive West Cromwell private hospital is 2 minutes walk away.
In the immediate area there are many restaurants, bars and pubs. High Street Kensington is only a 10 minute walk via beautiful back streets where a typical house would cost in excess of 4 million pounds."

Derby Hotel Kensington is an extremely well refurbished town house style hotel with wide corridors and large bedrooms. It even boats a garden at the rear of the hotel. The elegant Derby Hotel restaurant offers you an excellent Continental or cooked English breakfast.

The Derby Hotel - where is it?
This 3 star hotel in South Kensington is situated on the Cromwell Road just a few minutes walk to the west of the Gloucester Road underground station at the junction of Cromwell Road and Gloucester Road.
The Cromwell Road leaves London westwards to become the A4 and subsequently the M4 motorway passing London Heathrow Airport so driving to the Derby Hotel could not be simpler. Immediately to the west is Earls Court whilst to the south are Fulham and Chelsea. Knightsbridge is 20 minutes walk to the east. Hyde Park is an easy 15 minute walk north.
For the tourist to London we consider the area of South Kensington is a far more sophisticated option over the West End.
