Quintessentially traditional English accommodation. The Dorset Square Hotel offers deluxe accommodation for business and pleasure in central London. Excellently located for your needs, the hotel offers east access to all areas.

Marylebone, once separated from the city centre by open fields, is now home to fashionable boutique and designer stores and exclusive sought after Victorian Housing. Sandwiched between Regents Park, Bayswater and the West End, Marylebone offers excellent connections in all directions.

Offering a wealth of entertainment, Marylebone is often overlooked by most London guide books, although it joins Oxford Street, Marble Arch and Regents Park. The area is more calm and collected than on the shopping routes of Oxford Street or Kensington and once local offices close can be quite a quiet part of the city centre. The Dorset Square hotel, as its name suggests is located on Dorset Square, just moments from Marylebone Rail and Tube station. Travel a minute or two along the road and guests will come to Baker Street tube station also. Dorset Square is a smaller gardened square offering a pleasant view for front facing rooms.

The Dorset Square Hotel offers over thirty guest rooms and suites and each is modernly appointed seamlessly with its classical decor. Each room has a private marbled bathroom offering a bath tub, shower, hair dryer, toiletries and bathrobe. Each guest room is individually styled with rich fabrics, antique furnishings and deep mahogany. Rooms feature air conditioning, central heating, television, telephone, radio, modem connection, wireless internet connection, work desk, personal safe, mini bar and ironing facilities.
Rooms are graced by classical prints and images, and offer bright airy accommodation with deep reds, yellows and beiges.

The hotel's suites offer more spacious and luxurious surroundings. The King Junior Suite offers a large bedroom and separate living area and the Four Poster Suites offer even more luxury with a four poster bed. Some rooms can accommodate a roll away bed for a child, these are available on request.

The Hotel lounge, with its "officer's mess" atmosphere, has an open fireplace, a guest bar and a library. Perfect for relaxing, soaking up the atmosphere or waiting for friends, the bar is a focal point of the Dorset Square Hotel. Livery include superb prints, traditional decorations and old world memorabilia such as antique cricket bats, which all lend to the atmosphere of the Dorset Square Hotel, especially if one takes afternoon tea. The hotel bar offers a good selection of drinks, and offers an excellent way to relax before a show, after shopping or before an evening out on the town.

The hotels restaurant "The Potting Shed", offers excellent British cuisine from an a la carte or set menu. Sunday to Friday the Restaurant offers Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus and on Saturdays offers Breakfast and Dinner. On Friday evenings guests are treated to dine with live jazz music in the restaurant. A Full English Breakfast is served from 07:00.

Within walking distance along the Marylebone Road is the Planetarium, Madame Tussauds and the Royal Academy of Music. Cross the Boating Lake in Regents Park and Dorset Square Hotel guests will find an Open Air Theatre and the Regents Park Rose Gardens. A few minutes further brings guests to the famous London Zoo. Baker Street, just moments from the hotel, was home to Sherlock Holmes in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books. The famous detective's home has become the Sherlock Holmes Museum and can be found at 22b Baker Street.

For fans of England's beloved Sport, Lords Cricket Ground is under ten minutes away by tube. Besides playing host to England's Test Cricket Matches, Lords also features a museum for die hard fans. The ground is over one hundred years old and was built on a former duck pond!

Oxford Street is less than ten minutes by tube away and offers a host of shops and cafes. For shopping we recommend visiting Marylebone High Street, which is lined by exclusive little shops and food stores.
Within a ten minute taxi ride, Dorset Square Hotel guests can reach Marble Arch, Harley Street, Kensington, Piccadilly, the West End and Theatreland. Swiss Cottage, Hampstead and Camden can be easily reached by tube or taxi and are not more than a ten minute journey away.

Travelling further than the city centre is easy. Marylebone Station offers a mainline rail service West via Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe and Aylesbury to Birmingham and also has services stopping at Wembley Stadium.
Just a minute or two Westbound by tube or taxi, brings guests to Paddington Station. From here guests can access Heathrow Airport direct, via the Heathrow Express and can also access the district tube line at this station. The district tube line giving direct access to Earl's Court, Olympia, Wimbledon and Hammersmith. Waterloo station and the Eurostar Terminal is just five tube stops from Baker Street via the Jubilee Line, this line offering a direct connection with Canary Wharf and the Docklands Light Railway for ExCeL.
