Where is it?
The Travelodge Covent Garden is in central London just a few hundred metres north of Covent Garden on Drury Lane. Consequently this means it is a good choice for the many theatres in the area. The River Thames is only 800m to the south and Oxford Street is just 500m away. There are 3 underground stations within a 10 minute walk, these are Covent Garden, Holborn and Tottenham Court Road. The Piccadilly line runs from inside Heathrow Airport direct to Covent Garden station with no changes required. The hotel consists of 2 buildings, the High Holborn side being the newest and the older Drury Lane side previously known as the Drury Lane Moat House.

The Hotel offers more than 160 bedrooms all with a private bathroom and there are a number of family rooms which can accommodate up to 3 adults and a child by using the roll out sofa bed. There are no rooms that can accommodate 4 adults.
The bedrooms are simply furnished with wardrobe, room safe, in room movies, electronic room key, coffee maker, Internet access via laptop connection and a television.

Breakfast can be taken if required in the restaurant and as with all Travelodges is at an additional cost. Children under the age of 16 years eat free of charge when accommpanied by adults also eating. Breakfast is buffet style and you can eat as much as you like. There is a bar cafe for light refreshments and drinks including wines, lagers, beers, soft drinks and spirits. The menu has such items as ciabatta, pizza, fish, lasagna and salad, desserts and a variety of accompanying side dishes.
