Why choose Durrants Hotel
Durrants Hotel is a hotel for the discerning visitor to London. Whilst not a cheap option, the hotel compares very highly with any other central London 4 star hotel. Furnishings and service are 2 winning points for this hotel. The location allows for easy travel to many of London's well known attractions without taking public transport. This immediate area of the West End is not a known tourist area in comparison to Oxford street and Mayfair but has many interesting features including Seymour Place, Great Cumberland Place and Manchester Street all of which have been inn existance for over 200 years.
George Street lies close to a number of places of interest within central London, such as the Wallace Art Collection, located in Hertford House on Manchester Square. The popular shopping areas of Edgeware Road, New Bond Street and Regent Street are all within walking distance of George Street.
George Street, where Durrants Hotel is located, is close to the excellent bus and London Underground services of Edgeware Road, Baker Street and Marylebone Road. Marble Arch Underground Station, which provides Central line services to destinations including Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road stations, stands 500m south-west of George Street, while Bond Street Underground Station can be found 500m south-east on Oxford Street.
The Heathrow Express with its direct 15 minute connection to London Heathrow Airport is only a short taxi ride away.
