The Grange Fitzrovia hotel is situated in the West End about 600m north of Oxford Street and close to Great Portland Street underground. This 4 star hotel offers 90 bedrooms all with private wc / bathroom. Air conditioning is available in the upgraded executive rooms.
Bolsover Street is fairly quiet and from here you are walking distance to Oxford Circus, Soho, Carnaby Street, The London Palladium, the Middlesex Hospital, Madame Tussauds and Regents Park. The Heathrow Express terminal is only a short taxi ride away in Paddington and the underground stations of Great Portland Street and Oxford Street are both walkable.
The Grange Fitzrovia has an impressive marble entrance with a brass and glass lift to the guest floors. Furnishings are heavy fabrics and dark woods.

The Grange Fitzrovia was converted from period buildings and as a result the bedrooms are different sizes but in general are on the small side. There have been customer complaints about small double beds and small bathrooms. Furnishings are good quality if not a little out of fashion with heavy traditional fabrics and dark wood furniture.
The Grange Fitzrovia Hotel is located in the West End and thats a good place to stay but if you are driving remember that it is in the London Congestion Zone. The nearby underground station ( Great Portland Street ) will not be of much use to you if travelling into the central areas as it runs east west, therefore be prepared to take several tube trains or walk.

Value for Money
Its an "OK" hotel but given the fact its a 4 star and only offers a/c in the Executive rooms and is not as central as one would think, I would advise you too check out others before booking the Fitzrovia. Grange Hotels do have better appointed ones in central London such as the Grange Holborn Hotel. If you need an alternative to the Grange Fitzrovia in the same area, the nearest hotel is the Holiday Inn Oxford Circus. Weekend prices at the Grange Fitzrovia can be excellent value for money.
