A budget hotel in the West End. This is a no frills place to stay but guest comments state this is a clean hotel and is value for money.
The Garth is a small, privately owned hotel, in the centre of London (Bloomsbury) from where you can walk to many London landmarks including Soho, Oxford Street, Theatreland and Covent Garden.
The building is grade II listed,18th century, Georgian town house of historical interest. It was the birthplace in 1839 of William De Morgan the famous potter and novelist.
The Garth Hotel prides itselves on the warm and friendly atmosphere, and have established a reputation for our hospitality, which has brought back the same guests year after year.
The 17 bedrooms, which have recently been refurbished, have central heating, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities mostly ensuite, some with shower only. Family rooms are available accommodating up to 4 people. The rooms have a peaceful atmosphere and are clean and comfortable. The rooms and public areas are decorated with numerous paintings, photographs and prints to create an art gallery effect.
Parking is possible outside the hotel between 6,30 pm and 8.30 am, Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday.

I was very satisfied with the standard of this hotel, which has excellent facilities and is well-placed in central London. The room, reception and breakfast were all very good.
