ABOUT BAKER STREET:-
Baker Street lies in the Marylebone area of the West End of London. It runs from just north of Marylebone Road south to just before Oxford Street, a distance of just under 1km. It is an upmarket area of both residential and commercial property and is also a main through road for traffic so it can be very busy. At the northern end is the Sherlock Holmes Museum, the University of Westminster the Planetarium and Madam Tussauds waxworks. At its southern end just past Portman Square is Selfridges Department store on Oxford Street. Harley Street is only 600m to the east and Marble Arch 400m to the west.
