Cavendish Square London W1 is located in the heart of the W1 area close to both Portland Place W1 and Regent Street W1.
Cavendish Square, which is linked to Oxford Street W1 by Holles Street W1, was created by John Prince for Edward Harley, the 2nd Earl of Oxford and was named after his wife Lady Henrietta Cavendish Holles.
Work began to create Cavendish Square, which has junctions with Harley Street W1, Margaret Street W1 and Wigmore Street W1, in 1717.
Cavendish Square is centred around a well presented green public square, popular with both local workers and visitors to London's West End, with an underground public car park on one side. Cavendish Square is also home to the exclusive No. 5 restaurant, home and nightclub venue.
Located at 5 Cavendish Square W1, the former home of the Spanish Embassy, No. 5 has 8 deluxe hotel suites and a VIP club, as well as a secluded roof terrace, which serves drinks from 12.00pm till late daily (weather permitting).
