Glasshouse Street, London W1, which dates back to at least 1678, is located in the heart of London's Theatreland, between Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus in London's West End.

The Lyric, Apollo and Gielgud theatres all stand within close proximity to Glasshouse Street on Shaftesbury Avenue.

Situated in the southern end of the London postcode area, Glasshouse Street, which has junctions with Warwick Street, Brewer Street and Sherwood Street, is home to a variety of bars and restaurants.

Glasshouse Street is home to the Regent Palace Hotel, one of the largest hotels in London, with 920 rooms. The Regent Palace hotel provides comfortable accommodation to business and leisure travellers to London's West End and is home to the Cafe Nescafe and O Callaghan's Irish bar, which is open till late daily.

The stylish Atlantic bar and restaurant has now closed and the acclaimed restaurateur Luke Johnson has opened Astor Bar & Grill, a fine dining and art expo destination, in its place. Glasshouse Street lies close to many top London attractions, including the Royal Academy of Arts, situated in Burlington House, on Piccadilly next to the Burlington Arcade. Savile Row, renowned for its quality tailors, lies 100m west of Glasshouse Street, while Piccadilly Circus can be found 100m south-east.

Glasshouse Street is located close to the excellent bus services of Charing Cross Road WC2 and lies 100m north-west of Piccadilly Circus Underground Station. Piccadilly Circus Station provides Bakerloo and Piccadilly line services to destinations including Holborn, Kings Cross St. Pancras and Oxford Circus.
