If you are looking for a hotel around the London Eye then its not a problem as there are hundreds within a short travelling distance.
The London Eye is actually on the south bank of the River Thames and is almost opposite the Houses of Parliament in Westminster. Most visitors stay north of the river in either Kensington or the West End from where you can either walk or take a very quick tube ride to the Eye.
Remember that the queues can be quite large so plan visit either early or late in the day unless you have purchased one of the priority access tickets.
If you are visiting the London Eye then we can recommend that you continue to walk east along the Southbank to take in many other attractions including the Tate Modern, Shakespeares Globe Theatre, the Clink Prison, Golden Hinde, HMS Belfast and Tower Bridge where you can cross to the northern side of the river to visit the Tower of London.
