ABOUT PICCADILLY CIRCUS:-

Piccadilly Circus is synonymous with excitement, nights out, theatres, restaurants, clubs,  and all the associated thrills connected with this world famous area of London.

The bright lights beckon all and sundry for a glittering and wonderful time.

Seriously though, Piccadilly Circus is a vibrant and busy corner of the West End, joining Regent Street, Shaftesbury Avenue, Coventry Street, Haymarket and onward towards Leicester Square.  All areas the tourist to London should visit, and areas of London the locals are very proud of and love.

Night time brings on the show of neon lights and video displays when they light up the Northern corner of Piccadilly Circus.  These neon lights and video displays have lit up and advertised some major household brand names. Coca Cola being one who have had their brand up in lights over Piccadilly Circus for some 50 odd years. These neon light displays are a hugely recognised symbol of London the world over.

The Shaftesbury memorial fountain and statue of the Archer Eros are other monuments located in Piccadilly Circus, the Criterion Theatre and London Pavillion surround the area and stores such as HMV and Lillywhites attract large crowds of shoppers.

We should not forget to mention the ever-so-English and ever-so-decadent store (or rather institution) Fortnum and Masons,  become a 'true Brit' and indulge yourself in one of their delicious and unforgettable afternoon tea's.

Piccadilly Circus is a fun place to be, it has lots to offer the visitor to either shop, eat, play, dance watch a show or simply just stop and stare.  It is simply a 'must do' on your London 'to do' list.
