Portman Square London W1 is located on the western side of the West End, close to both Marylebone and Mayfair.
Portman Square, which was laid between 1764-84 for ground landlord Henry William Portman, is situated between Baker Street, Gloucester Place, Seymour Street and Upper Berkeley Street.
Portman Square lies close to the popular shopping areas of Edgware Road and Oxford Street.
Portman Square is home to the luxurious 4 star Radisson SAS Portman Hotel, located at 22 Portman Square.

Marble Arch Underground Station, which runs Central line services to destinations including Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road, stands 300m south-west of Portman Square. Other London Underground stations nearby include Baker Street (650m north) and Bond Street ( 400m south-east).
