Rathbone Place is located between Oxford Street and Rathbone Street in the Fitzrovia district of Londons West End.
Rathbone Place leads north into Percy Street and Charlotte Street , home to a number of bars and restaurants. The street was constructed between 1721-25 by Captain Thomas Rathbone, who had lived on the site since 1684. Rathbone Place is today home to a mixture of bars, restaurants, company headquarters and a major sorting office of the Royal Mail and is served will by bus and tube services.
