Running since 1991 and attracting over 20,000 visitors, the Winter Fine Art and Antiques Fair has been voted one of the best five antiques resources in the world by readers of luxury lifestyle site luxist.com. There is something for all art enthusiasts, collectors and dealers at this year's fair. And, being at Olympia, there are plenty of bargains to be had nearby with some of London's cheapest hotels.
More than 140 specialist exhibitors will be showcasing objects from over 30 different disciplines - from early china through maps, books and prints to fine furniture, as well as delightful unexpected discoveries such as very rare Chippendale chairs, William de Morgan vases and even letters from Queen Victoria.
With such a diverse range there is bound to be something to catch your eye - whether it's one of the classic 19th century European watercolours or a piece of memorable tribal art - many visitors will book hotels in London to see it all.
Held in association with the UK's leading trade associations in each field - the British Antique Dealers' Association (BADA) and The Association of Art & Antiques Dealers (LAPADA) - you are assured professional and knowledgeable service by all at the event. Tickets & times
The Winter Fine Art & Antiques Fair will be running at London Olympia from Monday 14 November to Sunday 20 November, doors opening at 11am and closing at 7 or 8pm (5pm on the final day). There is also a special preview evening on Monday 14th from 5pm-9pm.
Tickets cost around £10 per person - slightly more if bought on the door, slightly less if a double ticket or concession.
Olympia Exhibition Halls are in West Kensington - well serviced by public transport and within easy reach of cheap London hotels. Kensington Olympia station is both on the District Line of the tube and a mainline train station with direct trains to/ from Clapham Junction, Gatwick Airport, Brighton, Watford Junction, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Rugby. The following bus routes also service Olympia - numbers 9, 10, 27, 28,49 and 391.
