Wrights Lane, is the address of 2 very well positioned and well regarded hotels. The Copthorne Hotel which is actually on Scarsdale Place running on from Wrights Lane and the Kensington Rooms Hotel, a very popular choice for business or for pleasure stop-overs. A high number of rooms are offered via these 2 hotels, both of which can boast a very central location in a very well established corner of Kensington.
The Copthorne Hotel is a well regarded 3 star hotel offering a large selection of rooms. Not the most glamourous of hotels in its style and architecture yet inside you will be more than happy with the comfortable guest rooms and hotels amenities.
The Kensington Close Hotel is located at the bottom end of Wrights Lane. This is a large hotel with good amenities including parking on site and a very nice health and leisure club with an indoor pool. Rooms are very comfortable and nicely furnished and occasionally the hotel offers some excellent deals
A little way off Wrights Lane on High Street Kensington is the popular 5 star hotel the Royal Garden Hotel, it has a very enviable location overlooking Kensington Gardens and the former home of Princess Diana, Kensington Palace. Although please note not all rooms have this special view. Rates are not especially 5 star all of the time and it can be very reasonable at times.
About Wrights Lane
Wrights Lane is a small road just off High Street Kensington.
Located on Wrights Lane you have both commercial and residential properties. The lane is a small haven of peace and quiet away from the hub hub of the larger busy road of High Street Kensington. Along the lane you will find the London HQ of the EMI Group. There is a superb little tea shop serving all types of beverages and some scrumptuous cakes, namely The Muffin Man, a visit to this tea room is essential if you are staying in this area. There is the delectable Thai Terrace Restaurant, serving excellent Thai food and of course all the shoppers delights are just a few steps away on High Street Kensington.
You are close to all the major high street big names such as Boots the Chemist, Marks & Spencers, Argos, Starbucks,
High Street Kensington tube is also just a few steps from both hotels where you can pick up the District or Circle lines.
