London is smaller than you think and a hotel anywhere in the area shown will be close enough to a tube station to allow easy travel around the center. The most popular areas to stay in central London are Kensington, West End, Bayswater, Victoria, Knightsbridge and Earls Court and of course for the business traveller, the City. Secondary areas are St Johns Wood, Hammersmith, Southbank, Hampstead, Shepherds Bush, Acton and Camden but these should not be ruled out as your first choice if you are looking for something different.
