The Milestone is located on Kensington Gore (London postcode W8) which runs along the southern border of Hyde Park and consequently it has stunning views over the park and also Kensington Palace. Knightsbridge is to the north east, Mayfair to the east and South Kensington to the south. The massive green area of Hyde Park is 50m across the road.

Eat and Drink
This deluxe hotel has the Chenestons Restaurant with a selection of modern British cuisine with international influences. There is also an extensive wine list to compliment your meal. The traditional Victorian atmosphere is influenced by the mahogany furnishings and bright natural light from the original leaded windows.

The hotel also has a Conservatory for al fresco dining as well as breakfast and the Park Lounge serves a traditional English afternoon tea daily. The lounge is very laid back, with comfortable arm chairs and sofa in which to sink, whilst enjoying the views of Kensington Gardens.

Nearby facilities
Kensington High Street is within 5 minutes walking distance of the hotel and is a 1 km run of retail shops. The nearby tube station is particularly useful as the Circle line goes to Paddington in one direction and Victoria the other, allowing for easy access to either the Heathrow or Gatwick Express trains. There are a multitude of dining and night spots in the area including Zaika, the Michelin star Indian restaurant which is one minute walk from the hotel. Walk down to South Kensington and you will find the Science and Natural History museums, many cosmopolitan restaurants and bars and in general a very upmarket scene.
