Where is it?
The Umi hotel is located on the peaceful tree-lined Leinster Square in Bayswater. The hotel is just a stone's throw from the trendy Notting Hill area, and is close to Hyde Park and the Antique dealers of the Portobello Road Market. There is a large choice of restaurants, bars and cafes in the Bayswater area, and the Heathrow Express train operates from the nearby Paddington station.

Rest and Sleep
The Umi hotel has been recently refurbished. There are over a hundred guest rooms housed within the converted Victorian Townhouses. Each guest room is ensuite with a private bathroom. The rooms are fully furnished with a selection of modern conveniences including plasma television, tea and coffee hospitality tray, ironing facilities (on a request basis only), telephone, colour television and room safe. There are complimentary toiletries in the private bathrooms.

Internet Broadband and Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the hotel, at a small fee.

Eat and Drink
Every morning a delicious Continental Breakfast is served in the hotel's Yumi Coffee shop. A Full English option is cooked to order for anyone who wants a hearty start to their day, ideal for anyone with big sight-seeing plans!

Full English Breakfast is available, as well as a Cafe Style Continental Breakfast.

In the evening, dinner is served in 1356 Bar and Restaurant. Light snacks are also available if you don't have time for a full meal before a night on the town.

Nearby facilities
The Umi hotel is within a ten minute walk of the Heathrow Express service at Paddington station. Hyde Park is roughly the same walking time. Both Bayswater and Queensway underground stations are a short five minute stroll away from Bayswater you can easily reach the West End attractions in under fifteen minutes. There is a local Shopping Mall called Whiteleys featuring fitness and health facilities and several big high street brand stores.

The Umi has a small boardroom style meeting room, which is ideal for strategic meetings away from the distractions. The 1356 room is a multi-functional room that can be split into three, or used as a large room seating up to 100 people. The 1356 is well suited for training courses, lectures, meetings and presentations as well as any evening functions you may need.

As of 1st of November 2008 all payments made by a credit card will incur an additional handling fee charge of £1 per transaction. This does not apply to payments made by any of the debit cards, Maestro/Solo or Switch
