London Eye - Westminster Bridge Road - Distance 1850m
One of London's newest big attractions is the London Eye, a colossal observation wheel from which you can see clear across the city. The Eye is located on the bank of the Thames opposite Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, and next to the London Aquarium. Tickets can be booked in advance and there are also romantic package options available where you can reserve a capsule for that someone special whilst enjoying champagne along with the view.

Part of the Tate group of art galleries, the Tate Modern features modern art at its finest if most controversial. Featuring Monet, Picasso, Lichtenstein and Warhol, this is not to be missed for any culture seekers visiting the capital.

Heathrow
From Heathrow Airport you can get the Piccadilly lin to Green Park. Here change to the Jubilee line and take a southbound train three stops to Southwark. Southwark is about the same distance away from the hotel as London Bridge is, but directions from here are more direct. exit Southwark Station and cross the road onto Union Street. Follow this road and turn left onto Southwark Bridge Road. The hotel is a short walk down on the right.

Gatwick
From Gatwick Airport take the Gatwick Express to London Victoria. Here change to the London Underground. Take the Circle or District line eastbound two stops to Westminster. From here take the Jubilee line to Southwark. Southwark is about the same distance away from the hotel as London Bridge is, but directions from here are more direct. exit Southwark Station and cross the road onto Union Street. Follow this road and turn left onto Southwark Bridge Road. The hotel is a short walk down on the right.

Driving
From the M25 ring road take the exit at J15 (sign posted as Heathrow) onto the M4 east and continue straight onto the A4. Continue onto Knightsbridge leading to Piccadilly Parade. At this roundabout, take the fourth exit onto Duke of Wellington Place. Follow this around turning left onto Grosvenor Place. Turn left onto Lower Grosvenor Place.
Turn right at Buckingham Palace Road onto Bressenden Place. At the end turn left at Victoria Street. Turn right onto Artillery Row and then left onto Greycoat Place. Take the first exit at the roundabout and turn right at Horseferry Road. Keep going straight ahead until you reach Lambeth Road. At the end turn left.
Turn right onto Westminster Bridge Road and follow it to St George's Circus roundabout. Take the second exit onto Borough Road and follow it to Southwark Bridge Road. turn left onto it. Stay on this road until you pass Southwark Street and the hotel is up on the left.
