Marylebone is a small district within London's west end running from Edgeware Road east to Portland Place (1.4km) and north from Oxford Street to Regents Park (1.1km). Just to the north is St Johns Wood where you can find the Lords Cricket Club. To the south is Mayfair and to the west Bayswater and Paddington.
Marylebone is famous for being the home of Sherlock Holmes and here you can find the Sherlock Holmes Museum. Also in the area is Madam Tussauds, the Planetarium and the Wallace Collection. Marylebone station offers rail travel to the Chilterns and Birmingham. The tube stations include Marylebone on the Bakerloo line and Baker Street with its Jubilee Line running direct to Waterloo (Eurostar) and Canary Wharf. The Circle and District Line from Baker Street will transport you all around Zone 1 and 2.
