Notting Hill Carnival Hotels
Notting Hill is located to the West of Londons City Center. Forming part of Bayswater, north of Hyde Park, this area is more residential than the rest of the city center. With many shops, restaurants and bars it is home to the Notting Hill Carnival, which is usually held over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. But its not only famous for the Notting Hill Carnival, this area also hosts the Portobello Film Festival - a three week festival of over 400 short films! Also home to many Art gallerys Notting Hill is a center for culture, expression and carnival!
Notting Hill Carnival is Europes biggest street party, with dancers, singers, music and vibrant banners and costumes. People of all ages join in and the atmosphere over the carnival weekend is fantastic. The Carnival is usually Sunday to Monday from 12:00 until 19:00, and the procession usually travels along Great Western Road, Chepstow Road, Westborne Grove, Kensington Park Road and Ladbrove Grove. This makes for an excellent weekend for couples and families alike.
