Sitting on the border between Mayfair and Marylebone, the Radisson Edwardian Sussex, London, is ideally situated for anyone who wants to shop, see the sights, or be close to Londons major transport links. It offers three star accommodation right in the heart of Londons busiest areas.
The Radisson Edwardian Sussex is just outside Mayfair, lying, as it does, off the wrong side of Bond Street, and it is technically in Marylebone. However, it is close enough that the sights and attractions of both districts are within easy reach, and a short walk can take you to all of central Londons major attractions. To the south, in Mayfair you have the shops of Bond Street, Oxford Street, and Regent Street. Marble Arch is just around the corner from you, and if you go past it you are in Hyde Park. Walking a little further south takes you to Piccadilly, Green Park, and Buckingham Palace. Going north takes you to Baker Street and the Sherlock Holmes Museum, Madame Tussauds, and Regents Park, which contains London Zoo. There is fine dining all around you at Le Gavroche, and with Gordon Ramsay at Claridges. There are many flagship department stores within a few minutes walk: House Of Fraser, Fortnum & Mason, Hamleys, John Lewis, and Selfridges. You are also within a couple of tube stops or about a twenty minute walk of Soho, and the West End. Theatreland is almost on your doorstep. The closest tube stations are Bond Street and Marble Arch, and the hotel is a couple of minutes from either of them.
Less than 30 seconds from Oxford Street stands the Radisson Edwardian Sussex. It is housed in an Edwardian listed building and has a sleek, contemporary design. The rooms have air conditioning, US 110v plug sockets, and there is complimentary wifi throughout the hotel. Cots are available, there are complimentary newspapers in the lounge, and spa treatments are available in the rooms. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, and room service is also available all night and all day. There is an iron and ironing board available, and there is a minibar and safe in each room. There is a baggage storage service, and the hotel can arrange a limousine service. Flowers, sightseeing, and theatre trips can all be booked through the front desk. There is a business centre with photocopying facilities as well as a fax machine.
Many of the rooms in the Radisson Edwardian Sussex are quite small, and most complaints from the patrons are to do with room size. There are good, reasonably-priced restaurants nearby, and not everything is as expensive as it is in nearby Mayfair.
The gym is quite small, and the lift is quite slow, but this hotels location and the good, comfortable facilities it offers mean that it has many satisfied customers. Whilst not a luxurious break it is a good-quality hotel with a lot to offer, especially standing, as it does, right at the heart of Londons attractions and nightlife..

Accomodation more than adequate. Bathrooms a bit small but acceptable. Staff at reception and in the dining were excellent. Welcoming, friendly and attentive.
