Having completed refurbishment and renovations works in Spring 2007, the Rembrandt Hotel has transformed its traditional styling, to a more contemporary look, updating its guest facilities also. Guest rooms at the Rembrandt Hotel are available in three standards; Superior Rooms, Executive Rooms and Grand Rooms. Each offering modern styling and excellent comfort.

All three room types are equipped, as standard, with; private bathrooms, tea and coffee maker, fridge, interactive television with pay movies, room safe, broadband internet connection, work desk and seating area. Internet access is priced at £9.99 pounds for 24 hours.

Executive rooms are larger rooms with a more comfortable seating area in the room. Facilities in these rooms types are the same as Superior Rooms.

Grand guest rooms are more luxurious and also feature air conditioning, a fully stocked mini bar, complimentary mineral water and fruit bowl, bathrobes and slippers and also more luxurious bedding and toiletries. A small minority of Grand Rooms do not offer air conditioning or Jacuzzi baths, please request these features in the comments section when booking.

The Rembrandt's public areas include the Hotel Lobby, Masters Restaurant and the Masters Lounge Bar and Conservatory. The Lounge Bar, offering a contemporary ambience complimenting its original period features, offers a wide selection of drinks and snacks. The Lounge Bar is fully air conditioned, and also features afternoon tea. The lounges deep comfy sofas and chairs, make for a perfect rest from shopping or sight seeing, especially in the evenings with the open fire warming the room.

The Masters Restaurant, offers excellent cuisine and the service to match. Whether you need buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Masters Restaurant will have the dish for you. Breakfast offers the choice of a continental or full English buffet selection, and is always extremely highly rated by guests. Lunch and dinner are served as a carvery selection. The Masters' compliments its excellent dining menu, with an equally good drinks list, offering everything from water to Champagne.

Located next to the Rembrandt Hotel is the Aquilla Health and Leisure club. Here guests have the daunting task of relaxing by the heated swimming pool, spa or sauna, take a massage or beauty treatment or tone up in the Gymnasium. Rembrandt guests can pay £7.50 pounds per person for a day pass, however please note children's hours are 09:00 to 19:00. The Aquilla Health club is open from 07:00 until 22:00 weekdays and then 08:00 until 20:00 weekends.

Extending its flawless service to guests, The Rembrandt Hotel offers discounted car parking at the nearby secure North Terrace car park. Parking is charged at £29.00 pounds for 8 to 24 hours or £7.25 pounds for overnight parking from 18:00 until 08:00. To claim the discount, simply collect a stamp from the hotels concierge to show to the parking attendant on departure.
