The Executive Rooms by Shaftesbury is part of the Hogarth Kensington Hotel which is located on the border of Earls Court and South Kensington. This newly opened 4 star boutique hotel is in a perfect upmarket residential location on a relatively quiet side road and just one minute from Cromwell Road. This is for sure one of the best areas of central London for the leisure traveller to be based, it has superb transport links via the Circle and District Line and easy walking access to the many bars and restaurants of Kensington and Kings Road.

Public areas are non existent but that should not put you off. The immediate area offers every facility that you could require including a 24 hour Sainsbury superstore just 2 minutes walk away, launderette, post office, restaurants to suit all budgets and taste and of course the shopping area of High Street Kensington.

The bedrooms are in general not oversized however they are beautifully fitted out in richly woven heavy fabrics. The local tube station (3 minutes walk) will take you directly east to The City of London and London Tower and west to London Heathrow Airport.

VERDICT

Given the fact this is an expensive area to stay in, the Executive Rooms by Shaftesbury Kensington offer amazing value for money, the prices will go up once the client base is established but at the moment we see this as probably the best buy in all of London. As an added bonus, the free of charge internet connection will save you £15 a day.
