London SW7 is the postal district around South Kensington tube station. It extends as far west as Gloucester Road tube and east to Knightsbridge in the east. To the north it includes the Royal Albert Hall and to the south parts of Brompton Road.
SW7 or South Kensington is an afluent area where wealthy city workers and eastern Europeans have invested in property forcing the prices sky high. It is also a very popular tourist area and is acknowledged as one of the safest areas of London.
For tourists, this area offers fast and easy travel around London and the Piccadilly Tube Line runs all the way to London Heathrow Airport so offering travellers direct access to Gloucester Road and South Kensington stations with no changes. In the northern part of South Kensington is the student area of Imperial College and just a few hundred metres away is the Lycee Francais Charles de Gaulle with over 3000 French pupils.
The Natural History Museum fronts Cromwell Road near to South Kensington Tube Station and next to it on Exhibition Road is the Science Museum. Both are free to enter and are essential visits. The Victoria and Albert Museum is also in this area.
