The Wedgewood Hotel is a small budget hotel located in Bayswater. Offering average standards and staff and in need of a renovation.
The Wedgewood Hotel is located in Bayswater, close to Bayswater and Queensway tube stations. Bayswater offers an excellent location from which to explore the city, with excellent connections to all areas and London's airports. The nearby Paddington station is home to the Heathrow Airport Express train, which takes passengers to and from Heathrow Airport in just fifteen minutes.
London's sights and attractions such as Buckingham Palace, The London Eye and the British Museum are easily travelled to with many tube and bus stops within walking distance of the Wedgewood Hotel.
Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are just moments from the hotel, offering many activities throughout the Summer months and open air concerts.
Kensington Palace is a superb treat to visit and has been a Royal Palace since 1689. The Palaces State Apartments and the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection, are open to the public, as is the exhibition Diana Princess of Wales by Mario Testino until July 2007.

All usual facilities are to be found in the guest rooms, including Television, Radio, Hair Dryer, Tea and Coffee Maker, Room Safe, Telephone and Room Service.
Guest rooms are decorated to an acceptable backpacker standard. Guest rooms are basically furnished, but are well maintained featuring a daily maid service. In addition to the rooms safe, the Wedgewood reception offer the use of a safety deposit box at £10.00 pounds. All guest room floors can be reached by lift.
The Wedgewood Hotel serves a continental breakfast in its breakfast restaurant. The continental breakfast includes tea, coffee, juice, toast, cereals, jams, cheese, fruit and pastries. The hotels restaurant does not offer a dinner or lunch menu, meaning guests must sample some of the local restaurants and cafes. Bayswater has many restaurants, ranging from the more well known Burger King to classy private restaurants catering to all tastes and guaranteed to give you a hard time choosing!
Journey time from the Wedgewood Hotel to Theatreland is just 15 minutes, and Marble Arch can be reached in 10 minutes or less. For guests visiting a show or conference at Excel or Earls Court Exhibition center the Central Line from Queensway or Notting Hill Gate will take you to the Docklands Light Railway and the District Line from Notting Hill or Bayswater will take you direct to Earls Court or Olympia.
