The hotel is a small, independent and does not have many facilities. However, the room was of good quality and very pleasant. Some minor weaknesses around communal areas such as stairs looking like a tired B and B, limited reception times and e.g. toiletries being a bit on the cheap side (sainsbury's handwash, no soap in my room) and only two towels in the rooom. However, the staff were helpful it was a short walk to town to get food and the room made up for any weaknesses elsewhere. I dont understand how they big up the breakfast though - it was ok but nothing special.

The new owners have done a good job with the decoration and I could see that they are working on the other areas which shows this hotel has a lot of potential on the decorative side. The rooms are nice, I have stayed here a few times in different rooms and I like they way they are themed. 5A was my favourite room so I would recommend that. The price was right for the location of the hotel. Very quiet and recommended for business travellers. Hope to come back here again. :)
